A bold and contemporary transformation of a traditional family home in Gosforth, this project involved a large rear and two-storey side extension, alongside a complete reconfiguration of the ground floor layout. The design introduces a series of well-defined new spaces, improving the home’s flow and functionality to better support modern family life.

A standout feature of the project is the angular bronze façade, which creates a striking contrast to the existing structure while maintaining harmony with the surrounding context. Large sliding corner windows dissolve the boundary between inside and out, creating a seamless connection to the landscaped rear garden and flooding the interiors with natural light.

The interiors were finished to an exceptional standard, with bespoke joinery and cabinetry throughout. A minimalist design approach was paired with warm, durable materials to deliver a refined yet practical living environment tailored to the needs of a growing family.
