A considered extension and complete remodel of a Georgian home, Whinbank has been transformed into a refined four-bedroom residence. The project included relocating the main entrance to the rear of the property and introducing a large open-plan stone orangery designed to frame panoramic views over the Rothbury Valley. Internally, the layout was reconfigured to improve flow and functionality, with a focus on enhancing natural light and spatial clarity.

The design follows a minimalist yet classic aesthetic, balancing contemporary detailing with traditional materials to create a timeless and elegant atmosphere throughout. The orangery, in particular, embodies this approach—featuring clean lines, natural stone, and expansive glazing that subtly complements the original architecture while opening the home to its rural setting.
